To Love is to Serve

Seeds of Hope is a non-profit foundation, established to support abandoned and handicapped children in Romania. The central location is currently in the city of Cluj.

We are beginning construction of our new "Center for Education and Integration" in the village of Comsesti, which is about 12 miles outside Cluj. This $150,000 facility will give many teenagers a safe place to grow into happy, contributing adults.

The work of Seeds of Hope is to encourage social, vocational and spiritual integration of disabled and abandoned orphans into the Romanian community. We do this by creating a supportive network of loving people to serve as a family for those who have no one else to care for them.

We have three full-time staff and a number of volunteers, who are Romanians from various religious backgrounds.

For the first few years our projects are sponsored mostly from outside Romania, which involves individual, corporate and church sponsorships. Our goal is to make all programs self-sustaining within the Romanian community within the next five years.
